The Process

  • Our initial stage is one of listening, understanding and exploration. We capture your functional requirements and aesthetic preferences in a detailed briefing. Then, through our design approach, we establish a strong vision for your space, communicating the essence of your project with key design ideas and sketch planning within a succinct package.

  • As we begin to model in 3D, broad conceptual ideas are clarified, evolved and refined. We’ll work through resolving each design element, reflecting on its role and interaction within the broader space. Layering of finishes, light selections and feature fittings will support a cohesive design unique to your vision.

  • Details, distilled. With the major decisions complete, we’ll articulate your documentation package ready for pricing. A full set of interior documentation, including joinery drawings and schedules, will include all the functional requirements of your project, ready to be executed by your trades. Each precisely chosen finish, fixture, fitting and equipment will be specified, down to your hardware and lighting. We’ll leave nothing to chance.

  • Guidance as your vision comes to life. We’ll seamlessly address any interior design queries from your sub-contractors, review shop drawings, and respond to the dynamic, evolving build process. Our on-site support assists in maintaining design integrity, helping to complete the realisation of your design right through to handover.

  • The final touches that bring it all together. Whether you’re furnishing your entire home, wishing to find key pieces or wanting to add some cohesion to your space, we can assist. We can curate a selection of furniture, art and objects that are unique to your style and your new space.

  • Throughout the tendering process we can be involved in value management reviews to help meet budget requirements.

    Borgeaud can also be engaged during the pre-planning stage to explore the feasibility of your project through test fits and space planning for pre-site acquisitions.

    We can also be engaged in an advisory role, providing independent design reviews on external projects.
