RESIDENTIAL NEW BUILD

Parklane Place

Parklane Place was designed as a forever home for a young family seeking to balance work, family life, entertaining and retreat within a single, cohesive environment.

The design explores the relationship between exposure and shelter. A crisp white architectural shell filters light, privacy and climate through layers of screening, deep overhangs and landscaped thresholds, creating a protective framework around daily life.

Within this envelope, a darker and more grounded material palette introduces warmth and permanence. Walnut-toned joinery, natural stone, concrete and layered textiles soften the architecture and create a sense of calm throughout the home.

Planning was shaped around the family's evolving needs, integrating dedicated workspaces alongside generous communal areas and private retreats. Strong connections to landscape, framed views and outdoor living spaces reinforce the home's relationship with its subtropical setting.

Anchored by sculptural elements including the curved stair and stone kitchen island, the result is a home that feels both highly functional and deeply personal, thoughtfully designed to support the family today and into the future.
